The chamber is somewhat more compact than a traditional large-chamber tenor design, helping the mouthpiece retain response, projection and definition while preserving the depth and body associated with a larger chamber.

The Ponzol Vintage uses a moderately large chamber paired with a low shelf baffle. Its chamber is somewhat more compact than many traditional large-chamber tenor designs, helping preserve response and projection while maintaining the fuller, darker tonal character associated with a large chamber.
The low shelf baffle provides enough edge and definition for the sound to project without pushing the tonal character toward the brightness of the M2 or M2 Plus.
